Teagan was born and raised in Milton, Georgia. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 202 where she concentrated her Engineering Physics degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Statistics. Through the summers, Teagan interned at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Ford Motor Company in the Exterior Lighting and Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering departments respectively. In her senior year she pursued research instead and worked in equine biomechanics with the Tissue Biomechanics Laboratory. After this introduction, Teagan decided she wanted to focus on research and the interaction between biology and engineering, which led her to pursue a PhD at Princeton University with the BAM Lab.

Outside of work, Teagan is a member of the Princeton University Ballet Company and enjoys playing piano in her free time.
